Bearing Maintenance of Flotation Machine
The damage of rolling bearing of flotation machine is always caused by fatigue spalling and the lubricant oil is often get dirty by pulverized coal and rock powder and damage the reducer bearings.
To prevent fatigue damage of the part surface of the flotation machine, there are two basic ways:
Improve the contact stamina strength limit of the material.
It is realized by material selection, heat treatment and chemical treatment to increase the hardnes of steel which can directly and significantly improve the contact stamina ultimate strength. The strength increases with the change of steel microstructure, then gradually increased in the following order : ferrite - pearlite ferrite - austenite - granular pearlite - lamellar pearlite - granular pearlite ten carbide - Soxhlet troostite martensite - martensite (HH Sokos Luo Fusi a ) .
The hardness ratio of the gear and pinion gear also has a certain significance. The hardness of pinion gear should be higher than big gear, due to the small gear teeth has a high number of load cycles than large gear teeth.
