Width of feed port: The width of feed port decides the maximum lumpiness of feeding ores, which is important factor that needs considering when purchasing jaw crusher. It is also should be learned by miner and jaw crusher’s operator to avoid production downtime caused by the oversize ores that enter the machine.
Tooth angle: Tooth angle is namely the intersection angle between movable jaw and fixed jaw. In the crushing process, enough force of friction is required in the working face between the ores and movable jaw to prevent ores sliding upward or jumping out of the material inlet. Jaw crusher’s tooth angle should be chosen from 17° to 24°. It is extremely meaningful for improving the productivity and crushing efficiency of jaw crusher to choose the tooth angle properly. The increased tooth angle will increase ratio of crushing and decrease productivity while decreased tooth angle has opposite effect. Therefor, designer of jaw crusher should consider comprehensively when choosing tooth angle.
Rotate speed of eccentric shaft: At present, the rotate of eccentric shaft, which is represented by letter n, is calculated by following empirical formula: If B<1200mm, n=310-145B(r/min); If B≤1200mm,n=160-42B (r/min). B stands for width of feed port.
